ecently, I was asked to record a short video
for a large group of pastors across the country.
I had four minutes to share everything they
needed to know to do effective, meaningful,
marriage and family ministry with this generation of
couples and families—which you know is impossi-
ble to do in four minutes. However, with this age of
communication often being defined by 144 characters,
that’s all the time I was given. So set your clocks. It will
take just a few minutes to read this article as I share
four principles that I think are crucial to walking well
with couples today.
