), by phone

(800.526.8673), or by mail. To register by mail, complete and return

the registration form, along with your check, money order, or credit

card information, to AACC World Conference, P.O. Box 739, Forest,

VA 24551. The cost of regular registration for the World Conference is

$419 ($199 for international or full-time students). The registration fee

includes admission to all plenary sessions, concerts, worship services,

program sessions, and the exhibit hall. Spouses of attendees may reg-

ister for $199. For those spouses who wish to attend only the worship

services and plenary sessions, we offer a low $109 rate.

EXHIBITORS & SPONSORS

A diverse group of Christian corporations, publishers, organizations,

colleges and universities will exhibit at the Conference and sponsor a

wide variety of events. Plan to build time into your schedule to view the

latest in resources, materials, educational opportunities, and services

that affirm and promote Christian counseling. If you desire to be a spon-

sor or exhibitor, contact Randy Meetre at 843-591-5225 for a complete

information packet. Exhibits will be open 12-7 PM Wednesday, 9 AM-7

PM Thursday and Friday, and 9 AM-4 PM on Saturday.

CONFERENCE SITE & ACCOMMODATIONS

All Conference events will be held in the Opryland Hotel where, under

one roof, you can enjoy nine acres of lush gardens, a winding river with

waterfalls, 30 shops, and rooms attended by one of the finest hotel staffs

in the South. AACC has secured group rates for registered attendees

that are substantially lower than the usual rates. Single- and double-

occupancy rooms are available for $199 per night. Room reservations

should be made directly with the hotel at 888-777-6779. The special

rate expires September 1, 2017, or when all allotted rooms have been

reserved.

SPOUSE ACTIVITIES

Spouses accompanying attendees have a variety of options from which

to choose, including: (1) attending all Conference events at a discounted

rate of $199; (2) attending only the Pre-Conference workshops at a

discounted fee of $29 per workshop (if accompanied by spouse); (3)

attending only the Conference plenary sessions and worship services at

a special rate of $109; or (4) attending only the opening Celebration and

the Dinner Theater at regular ticket prices. In addition, restaurants and

entertainment venues are conveniently located within walking distance

of the Opryland Hotel.

PRIORITY OF PREFERRED TRACK SESSIONS

After registering, you will be sent specific information regarding the

names, presentation titles, and specific times for program track pre-

sentations. Because attendance at any one session will be limited to the

number of seats available in the various meeting rooms, it is imperative

that you register early to have priority in attending your preferred ses-

sions. Your track presentation choices will be prioritized according to

the date on which your registration form is received in the Conference

office. When you arrive at the Conference, you will receive a schedule

that will permit you to enter only certain presentations. The sooner you

complete the attached registration form and send it in, the better your

chances are of attending your preferred sessions.

CANCELATION POLICY

To maintain a high standard throughout our conferences and events,

AACC has instituted a NO REFUND POLICY effective immediately and

enforceable for all AACC events. In certain circumstances, credit for a

future conference registation or a store credit may be issued in lieu of a

refund. AACC reserves the right to cancel exhibitors, speakers, present-

ers or registrations on any person and without cause.

AUDIO RECORDING

Professionally produced USBs, CDs and DVDs of Conference worship

sessions, plenary sessions, and track presentations will be available for

sale at the Conference. No personal audio or video taping/recording of

any Pre-Conference or Conference session is permitted.

CONFIRMATION

A receipt will be sent to you confirming your registration. Track selec-

tion will begin online in May 2017. After you have selected your ses-

sions, a confirmation will be sent to you with your individual schedule

for the Conference. Save this confirmation and bring it with you to the

Conference. You must present your confirmation receipt at the Regis-

tration Window to receive your packet containing entry badge, session

schedule, Conference program booklet, and special function tickets.

CONTINUING EDUCATION HOURS

The American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) offers some

clinicians and counselors Continuing Education (CE) credit due to good

standing with a limited number of professional organizations.

• The AACC is approved by the American Psychological Association

(APA) to offer continuing education for psychologists and main-

tains responsibility for this program and its content.

• The AACC is a National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC)

Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEPTM), may award

NBCC approved clock hours for presentations and/or programs

that meet NBCC requirements, and maintains responsibility for

the content of these presentations and programs.

• The American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), #1400,

is approved as a provider for social work continuing education

by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB), www.aswb.

org, through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program.

ASWB Approval Period: (09/2016 to 09/2017). Licensed social

workers should contact their individual regulatory boards to

review current continuing education requirements for licensure

renewal. Social workers attending this conference can receive up

to 14.75 continuing education clock hours depending on specific

sessions attended.

• The AACC meets the qualifications for continuing education credit

for MFTs and/or LCSWs as required by the California Board of

Behavioral Sciences (#3552).

• The AACC offers continuing education credit for play therapists

through the Association of Play Therapy (APT Approved Provider

#14-373), so long as the training element is specifically applicable

to the practice of play therapy.

It remains the responsibility of each participant to be aware of state

licensure requirements. Participants should check their state and/or

local regulations regarding required continuing education hours.

The training offered through AACC sponsored conferences and training

programs also meets the ongoing CE requirements for counselors, life

coaches, and crisis responders who are credentialed through the Inter-

national Board of Christian Care (IBCC) or one of its affiliate boards:

the Board of Christian Professional and Pastoral Counseling (BCPPC);

the Board of Christian Life Coaching (BCLC); and the Board of Chris-

tian Crisis and Trauma Response (BCCTR).

Participants understand and acknowledge that specific presentation/

program content (e.g., trauma and abuse subject matter) may result in

emotional, psychological and/or spiritual distress related to past or cur-

rent life experiences. As such, participants may elect to discontinue at-

tendance and/or seek supportive or professional services and resources.

The cost for CEs is $69 to cover administrative and processing fees.

Attendees must turn in a signed and properly stamped Continuing

Education Form, which has been validated by an official CE Monitor.

CE Monitors will be stationed at the exit doors of each presentation. To

be eligible to receive CE hours, the prospective CE recipient must be

present during the entire session/presentation. Continuing Education

Forms will only be stamped and validated at the conclusion of a presen-

tation and not prior to, or during, the presentation.

Confirmation CE letters/certificates will be mailed after the program

is completed and only to those participants who request and pay for

continuing education hours. Letters and/or certificates will display the

name of the attendee, program title, the number of CE hours awarded,

and the date of completion. The presentation(s) and the name(s) of the

presenter(s) will be listed if an itemized letter has been requested (only

where available). The stamped Continuing Education Form should

include the desired address where CE letters/certificates are to be

mailed. Please allow 4-6 weeks for standard processing (major confer-

ence events may take 8-12 weeks). Any requests for expedited letters or

reprints may result in additional fees. Please contact Member Services

at 1-800-526-8673 for further information.
