History is not arbitrary, and our lives are
part of a greater story written by God.
This worldview provides a meaning and
purpose to our counseling that engages
a mission greater than ourselves; we are
part of God’s design and plan, and our
motivation to help others rests on a desire
to please God, not purely on blind altruism,
survival of the species, or financial gain.
